Current Events- "What's Happening in our World?"

Hello,
It is the second week of February already. Valentines Day is on Saturday and next Monday is another holiday, Presidents Day.
There are many websites and resources online that you can read to "keep up" on current events and to be more informed of events taking place in the world around you.
Browse around Yahoo.com (http://www.yahoo.com/) or National Public Radio's website (http://www.npr.org/). Also, the Tri City Herald website (http://www.tri-cityherald.com/) and the Seattle Times newspaper website (www.seattletimes.com) are good places to find local and Northwest news.
