My favorite American Holiday is my birthday. ;) In Yakima, we always have a big celebration with lots of fireworks and a parade and lots of presents and cake and music and apples of course, and all kinds of good food like hambergers and pizza (extra large) and the whole town comes out just to celebrate.. me!

Wow! Well, maybe I exagerated just a little. Sorry...

Thanksgiving is my favorite American Holiday. I used to have a special celebration at my place with few friends and we eat and eat and eat. Wow... lots of fun for me. We don't have Thanksgiving Holiday in Thailand but when I back to Thailand someday I will celebrate it every year.

This is my first year here. So, I don`t know what will be my favorite American holiday. But in my home country I love to celebrate the Easter. I remember when I was a child. It was so funny.

My favorite holiday, besides my birthday, is Christmas. I love decorating the house and the tree, and spending time with family and friends. We keep some of the traditions from my husbands family by having a "tamalada" every year. A tamalada is when many people get together to make Tamales. We also make Irish Soda Bread for St. Patrick's Day, a tradition from my family.

Halloween is by FAR my favorite holiday! For one thing, i'm wiccan and it is a day that wiccans and pagans believe the veil between this world and the next is the thinest. the time when you are the closest to those who have past on. i love that, as i have family members who have past on, and i feel very close to them on that day.

Also, i LOVE to dress up! any excuse to dress up makes me very happy, as i love to make costumes, both for me and for others. i usually know at least a year in advance what i am going to be next year for Halloween, and i look forward to it all year! unfortunitely, now i have almost a whole year before it comes around again:P
